Hello my name is Shannon Simon and my journey with Yoga began over 20 years ago. Like a lot of people, I started Yoga because I was trying to lose some baby weight. As I came to the mat my body started to look and feel better but the real transformation I felt elsewhere. I started to notice myself feeling comfortable in my skin and stronger in places like my heart, my mind and spirit. This practice had such a profound effect on my life that I decided to try to bring that to others. I received my certification from the Yoga Shelter in 2004 and have continued my education to include prenatal yoga, mindfulness and meditation. I am dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment for you to begin or continue your journey to awareness. We follow the path of pranayama (breath control), asana (poses) and meditation through creative movement sequences that calm the mind, strengthen the body and inspire the soul.
